Anne Bauer is a member of the Middleton Cross Plains Area School District Board of Education. She is a former teacher, and has a Master’s Degree in Education.
Carrie Brooker is a communications consultant and writer. She lives in Middleton with her husband, Tom Hunter, and their two sons, who attend Elm Lawn and Kromrey.
Purna Byraiah (Vice-Chair) is a Project Manager with CUNA Mutual Group. She and her husband Erwan live in the district and both of their children attend MCPASD schools.
Carl Frederick is a research analyst at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. He came to Wisconsin to earn his PhD in sociology at UW-Madison with a focus on inequality and civic outcomes of education. Upon graduation, he and his wife decided that Middleton was too nice a place to leave. His wife is a proud alumna of MCPASD schools and their two daughters are current or future MCPASD students. Carl is also an active volunteer for the Coach Sauer Foundation.
Zach Galin is president of Galin Education, a tutoring and college admissions counseling organization in Middleton. He started his career in education as a science teacher in a grade 6-12 school in New York City and as a program director at a residential summer camp in Pennsylvania. Zach met his wife (a Middleton High School graduate) while they were studying at Northwestern University and was easily convinced to settle in Middleton. He is a board member of the Jewish Federation of Madison and is the chair of Camp Shalom in Verona.
Janet Hartung Renfert, CPA is the managing shareholder at Porter & Sack, CPAs. She works with a broad range of closely held and growing businesses to assist with tax planning, financial decisions, business succession and business improvement strategies.
Perry Hibner is the Director of Communications for the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District. Before that, he worked for nearly 25 years with the Wisconsin State Journal, the second-largest newspaper in the state. He and his wife, Sheila, live in Middleton and have had three children attend District schools.
Cristen Incitti is the Chief Operating Officer at the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council. She has been a nonprofit and higher education leader in the fields of student affairs, youth development, and affordable housing. She is passionate about creating communities where everyone has access to a strong education and the opportunity to achieve their goals. She lives in Middleton with her husband, Kevin, and her two children.
Kristin Jungbluth has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and retired from a corporate career in Product Management & Development. She has been involved in Non-Profit development and fundraising efforts for many organizations in the last 15 years. Kristin and her husband Eric live in Middleton where their two children attend MCPASD schools.
Tom Kobinsky (Secretary) retired from a corporate career in technical writing and public relations and currently works for the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District in facilities management. He and his wife Darcy live in the Town of Cross Plains where they raised three children, all graduates of Middleton High School and the UW System.
Ellen Lindgren is a former member of the MCPASD school board. She lives in Middleton, is an RN, and raised three children in the district.
Stephanie Mueller, MBA (Treasurer) lives in Middleton with her husband Brad, college students Kylie and Will, and high-schooler Chase.
Jeff Roepsch has worked at Johnson Controls since 2002 in business development. Prior to working at Johnson Controls, Jeff worked at The University of Iowa where he received his BA in psychology, MA in education and MBA. He and his wife Tiffany have three daughters attending Sauk Trail and Kromrey.
Mary Thompson is the Director of Curriculum Development, Assessment and Evaluation at UW-Madison. She works in the Division of Continuing Studies and support the creation of new degrees on campus. She earned her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Educational Policy. She enjoys all that Middleton has to offer with her husband James and son who attends Kromrey Middle School.
Courtney Ward-Reichard (Chair) is an attorney with the law firm of Nilan Johnson Lewis, headquartered in Minneapolis, with a concentration in labor and employment litigation. Courtney and her family moved to Middleton in 2011 primarily because of the schools. Her two daughters attend Kromrey Middle School and Middleton High School.
