Inspiration Grants

Congratulations to our 2019 grant recipients:!

The Foundation has awarded more than 100 grants worth approximately $105,000 since 2013.

The grants fund innovative and unique programs that complement the district’s educational goals, and provide experiences for students that go beyond those provided in a traditional learning environment. Each year, the Foundation reviews the goals of the district’s Educational Plan and establishes grant goals that recognize the changing environment and needs within the district.

In 2019, it was the Foundation’s sixth year of awarding inspiration grants to MCPASD teachers and staff. Our 2019 recipients were announced on April 30; the Foundation awarded 10 grants totaling $16,091 to teachers and staff at six MCPASD schools.

To announce the grants, we go on an annual bus tour! Foundation board members surprise recipients by arriving at their schools via school bus along with Middleton High School marching band members. We honor recipients with classroom presentations, and the band plays songs to celebrate.

Thanks to our generous donors’ support, each of the 10 MCPASD schools have received multiple grants. Hundreds of students have benefited from our donors’ generosity!

The 2019 grant application process has closed. If you have questions about the 2020 grant application process, please contact Perry Hibner.
