We are looking for a volunteer treasurer to work with our Finance Committee and to serve on our all-volunteer board of directors, which includes members from the community, school board and school district. Our board is led by Executive Director Amber Kiggens-Leifheit, who serves in a part-time role. 

We partner with the district, businesses and community members to support MCPASD schools, students and staff. Serving on the board is a meaningful way to make a difference in our schools and in our community – now and for generations to come. 

Responsibilities:  

• Serve on  our Budget and Finance Committee and provide oversight of financial matters dealing with budgeting and day-to-day operations
• Help develop and oversee our financial policies and procedures
• Oversee  timely financial reports and budgets, including an annual budget
• Oversee daily/monthly entries in quickbooks and provide input  to Executive Director
• Issue checks in a timely manner
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is a needed 
• Attend monthly board meetings (10 per year) and bi-weekly executive committee meetings

Time Commitment:

3-4 hours per month
