Message from Purna Byraiah, Education Foundation Board Chair
Dear MCPASD Families,
We hope this message finds you and your family safe and well.
We’re pleased to share that as part of our fundraiser for personal hygiene items for MCPASD students, Ruth’s Chris Steak House has generously offered to donate 100% of proceeds from take-out orders on Wednesday, May 20!
We invite you to participate in this easy and delicious way to support MCPASD students in need.
Why We’re Raising Money
MCPASD social workers reported 50% more demand than expected at the district’s first hygiene supplies distribution in April. Social workers served 200 students, but unfortunately turned away about 100 students because supplies ran out.
To make sure every student who needs supplies gets them, we announced a new fundraiser on May 1. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to cover more students on the remaining distribution dates. Our take-out dinner with Ruth’s Chris Steak House will get us closer to our $10,000 goal.
We’re happy to share that MCPASD social workers served 300 students at the distribution on May 4, and no students were turned away. With more district families struggling financially due to COVID-19, we expect to continue serving 300 students or more during the remaining two distribution dates.
To Participate on May 20
Call Ruth’s Chris Steak House at 608-828-7884 to place an order. Orders can be placed in advance on May 19, or after 2 p.m. on May 20.

We are grateful to have Ruth’s Chris Steak House as a partner in supporting MCPASD students, and we deeply appreciate their strong commitment to our community. Also, we thank the Middleton Good Neighbor Hub for connecting us.
Our sincere thanks for your support of MCPASD students.
